No prior knowledge or experience in cryptoasset taxation is required, as full training and on-going support regarding crypto aspects will be provided. During your training you will have the opportunity to learn from a knowledgeable and supportive team – working on crypto tax work. general responsibilities

  • Using software to calculate clients’ crypto income and capital gains/losses
  • Helping clients import their crypto data into software and supporting them with reviewing and correcting the tax classifications of the transactions
  • Manipulating data into a specific format within excel
  • Undertaking an analytical review of crypto tax reports and the underlying data in the software
  • Researching and understanding different types of cryptoassets, protocols and platforms
  • Communicating with clients and HM Revenue & Customs
  • General office duties throughout the firm to ensure our clients are serviced to the highest standard

skills and qualities

  • A levels grades A-C, ideally including Maths
  • Minimum 8 GCSEs at 9-5 grades (A-C), with 6 (B) or above in Maths and English Language – or equivalent
  • IT proficient (particularly excel and data analytical skills)
  • Strong mathematical skills
